What this site collects
When you accept cookies on this site, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized usage data: pages visited, approximate location (country and city derived from IP, with the IP itself not stored), referring site, device type, and browser. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
Why
To understand how visitors discover the site (search, referrals, social) and what they read. This is a personal portfolio; the data informs what to write and build next.
Cookies
If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies:
_ga: distinguishes unique visitors (2 years)_ga_*: session state (2 years)
If you reject, no cookies are written and no measurement data is sent to Google. Google Consent Mode v2 may still send anonymous, cookieless pings used for aggregate visit counts.
Third parties
Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC. Data may be processed in the United States under Google's privacy policy. This site does not sell or share personal information with any other third parties.
Your rights
Under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws, you can withdraw consent at any time, request a copy of any data tied to you, or ask for it to be deleted. Because no personally identifiable information is collected, deletion effectively means clearing the cookies on your device.
